I met my Mom, Sister and 2 adorable nephews at The Dove's Nest Restaurant yesterday. The have fabulous chicken salad and I rarely refuse dessert (Buttermilk Pie, yesterday) when I dine there. If you are ever visiting Waxahachie, TX you have to stop by there. They have a fabulous gift shop, too!

I just love these fabulous containers, they are wonderful for storage! I have a set of crystal bisquit jars on the counter in my bathroom that I use to hold q-tips and cotton balls. Very elegant! I found these at Roomservicehome.com (one of my favorite shops).

Leave it to Ballard Designs to come up with a chic dish drainer! I've been eyeing this fabulous item for about 2 years now and someday I'm going to own it! I'm really not much of an online shopper, I love to be able to touch and feel the things I'm going to buy...I'm just one of those people.

Come on, ask me! "Julie, what is your favorite set of scrapbook pages that you created"?. I will say, "This set of Princess pages"! I am so in love with this set that I am not happy about parting with them (I will be listing them in my ebay store). So many details on these pages....aging, buttons, a fabric doily, fabric yo-yo's, tulle netting, handmade tear bear, and I used one of my favorite set of bird stamps by Crafty Secrets. Just fabulous.......(if I do say so myself!).
I saw this fabulous idea at MarthaStewart.com. I've used several of her ideas for baby showers, wedding showers and weddings that I have hosted in the past. Here is the description for this pic:
With their beautiful ornamentation and lettering, biscuit and tea tins bring old-fashioned charm to a reception table. New or vintage, the containers are inexpensive and easy to find at specialty-food stores, tag sales, and online auctions. Test tins to make sure they're watertight before filling with single-flower arrangements. If any do leak, use plastic bags as liners.
Have a fabulous day!

Guess what? I'm an Amy Butler fan! She has some of the most fabulous fabrics and patterns (Amybutlerdesign.com), now she has designed a line of paper for K&Company. I just had to buy some and make some cards! I am quite pleased with the result.
I love this purse but I pretty much love anything that is pink! The price isn't too bad for a designer purse ($165) but how many purses does a girl need? I guess I'll have to put this bag on my wish list!

Would you pay $3.25 for 1 single cupcake? When I heard this shop (Sprinkles Cupcakes) was opening up in Dallas I wondered what the fuss was all about? Would the cupcakes be as good as everyone was saying? Luckily my sister (Jen) works in downtown Dallas so this store is just a quick trip (LOL Dallas area commuters) up the highway from her. How many cupcakes to order? Hmmmmmmmmm. 2 for me (vanilla, dark chocolate) and 1 each (milk chocolate) for my hubby and kids! I'm sorry to say that I was not that impressed with the vanilla but the dark chocolate was to die for (and I consider myself to be somewhat of a chocolate conniseur, LOL!). Yes, my hubby and kids were very impressed and have put in their orders (1st, 2nd, 3rd choices) for the next time my sister decides to make an impulsive trip up the highway. Pumpkin, red velvet and lemon are on my list for next time!
I absolutely LOVE this fabulous craft/scrapbook tote by Amy Butler (I bought the bag pictured on the left). I can't wait to take it to my next scrapbooking class, now I can carry my supplies in fabulous style! Run out and buy one today...or purchase one from twopeasinabucket.com. Coming soon to my shops: fabulous cards and a mini scrapbook using Amy Butler paper!

Check out my new Parisian Fru Fru tags that I just listed in my Ebay and Etsy stores! These tags are so fabulous and unique, I am thrilled with the way they turned out. I love floral papers and I have quite a collection. I have some paper that I love so much I can't bring myself to use it! Crazy? Probably a little, LOL!
